TEMPLE, Texas — Mike Rogers is a multi-skilled journalist at KCEN-TV in Temple, Texas. He joined the Channel 6 team in August of 2023 and is excited to tell the stories of the people that make Waco and Temple the cities they are.
Rogers graduated in May of 2020 from the Bob Schieffer School of Journalism at Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in journalism, and minors in Spanish and political science.
Rogers previously worked at KXII in Sherman, Texas and WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born in Chicago, Illinois where he grew up for 18 years before moving to Frisco, Texas.
When he's not working Mike likes to spend time with his friends in the DFW area, workout and watch football.
