Itty Bitty Kitty Committee and Midsize Sedan are representing the Lone Star State against competitors like Necronomicat, Boop Noodle and more.

TEMPLE, Texas — Two Texas pets are looking for your vote in a contest like no other.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is hosting its annual Wacky Pet Names contest, where unusually named pets from across the country compete to take the crown as having the most unique name out of the company's recently enrolled animals. This year, Texas is represented by two entries.

Stepping into the ring for the Lone Star State are Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, a cat from Dallas/Fort Worth, and Midsize Sedan, a tortoise from San Antonio.
