WACO, Texas — Waco Independent School District celebrated some of the people who make it possible for students to get to school on Feb. 22.
Celebrating Bus Driver Appreciation Day, Waco ISD leaders prepared and served a luncheon for bus drivers in the district to thank them for their contributions to Waco ISD.
"Thank you, bus drivers, for safely transporting thousands of students every day!" said the district in a post on social media.
According to the U.S. News and World Report, Waco Independent School District serves over 14,000 students across 25 schools.
