BELL COUNTY, Texas — Bell County's Sheriff's Department announced a new edition to their family, Athena, on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Athena is a Deputy K-9. In a Facebook post the department asked the community to welcome Athena with various pictures of her.
As Athena settles into her new role within the Bell County Sheriff's Department, the community is encouraged to extend a warm welcome to this dedicated and invaluable member of the law enforcement team.
