KILLEEN, Texas — This week's perfect pet is Bernard! Bernard, is a 1-year-old Rottweiler, who is on the lookout for a loving family to call his own.
Despite the stereotypes often associated with Rottweilers, Bernard showcases a gentle demeanor and keen intelligence.
"I am a really sweet big boy who’s looking for his forever home," Bernard wrote, hoping to debunk any bad reputation his breed has. "I’m aware that my breed might intimidate you because of all the bad things that people say about us, but I am confident I can prove you wrong."
Describing himself as calm, smart, and obedient, Bernard pledges unwavering loyalty to his future companion.
"I promise I’ll be your most loyal companion," he wrote. With a love of exploring and outdoor activities, Bernard also loves the simple pleasures of back scratches and belly rubs.
