Waco Animal Shelter seeks community help in providing comfortable beds for furry friends

With a current capacity of over 175 kennels and additional animals in foster care, the wear and tear on the existing kennel beds have become apparent.

WACO, Texas — In a plea to the community, the Waco Animal Shelter is urgently seeking new bed donations to enhance the living conditions for its numerous furry residents.

The @ShelterBeds program is where residents can make tax-deductible bed contributions directly to the shelter.

Residents are encouraged to consider participating in the @ShelterBeds initiative, which partners with Kuranda Shelter Beds. These specialized beds are durable and easy to clean.

With a current capacity of over 175 kennels and additional animals in foster care, the wear and tear on the existing kennel beds have become apparent. The sought-after chew-proof Kuranda beds are intended to provide a stable, sanitary, and comfortable place for the shelter's special guests to rest.

Residents interested in supporting the cause can participate in the donation program or drop off beds at the Waco Animal Shelter.
