NOLANVILLE, Texas — Residents in the Bell County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 (WCID3) could potentially experience interruptions to their water service on Tuesday, March 12, due to a water line repair in Nolanville.
WCID3 said the work is tentatively scheduled to begin mid-morning, weather permitting, with the possibility that water service could be interrupted for the entire service area.
Once the repairs are completed, a precautionary boil order will go into effect for the affected areas, said WCID3.
Water should be boiled before consumption to destroy harmful bacteria or other microbes. WCID3 said water should be brought to a "vigorous, rolling boil" and boiled for two minutes.
Officials will reportedly notify customers when water is once again safe for consumption.
