WACO, Texas — Donald Palmer, 24, was arrested Thursday on a warrant charge of the murder of Eric Williams at the Costa Esmeralda Apartments on Dec. 29, according to the Waco Police Department.
Palmer was arrested at an apartment complex in the South Waco area by the US Marshal Lone Star Task Force without incident. This is the second murder warrant arrest that has been made in this case and the investigation is still ongoing.
Eric Lavelle Williams, 28, was shot after he got into an argument with two other men on Dec. 29, according to investigators.
Someone called police at 11:40 a.m. that day to report that a man was lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Officers arrived and found Williams on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
