One injured following shooting in Temple, police say

No other additional injuries were reported, TPD said.

TEMPLE, Texas — One person is injured after a shooting along the block of South 61st St, according to Temple Police Department.

TPD responded to the shooting at around 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 14. The shooting allegedly took place in the 2400 block of South 61st St.

According to officers, upon arrival they found one person who had been shot.

The individual was taken to a local hospital. No other additional injuries were reported, TPD said.

TPD said they are currently looking for the alleged suspect. No further information has been given at this time.
