WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department has identified 22-year-old Austin Bowar as the victim of a shooting that took place on Thursday, April 4.
According to Waco PD, officers were called to the 1100 block of N. 6th Street. at around 1:15 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Bowar suffering from a gunshot wound. Bowar was taken to a local hospital where he died, Waco PD says.
Officers were unable to locate a suspect on the scene. If anyone has information on the shooting, they are asked to call 254-750-7500 or you can call Crime Stoppers at 254-753-4357.
