$37,500 of damage | Temple Fire Marshal's Office makes arrest after city facility break-in, property damage

TEMPLE, Texas —

After a two month investigation, the Fire Marshal's Office for Temple Fire and Rescue made an arrest in connection to an incident at a city facility that happened in February.

Daniel Mitchell, 20, was arrested on Wednesday by the Fire Marshal's Office. Mitchell broke into a city facility, damaged property, and destroyed multiple golf carts. He set two of those golf carts on fire. The cost to repair the damage is estimated to be just under $37,500, according to Temple Fire and Rescue.
