WOODWAY, Texas — The Woodway Police Department said on Facebook it got reports of a man trying to open doors of homes in and around the Lake Forest and Buckingham Court area off of the 1200 block of Estate Drive Monday morning.

One of the incidents was caught on camera and police shared the video.

The person of interest tested the locks between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., police said. He was wearing a dark hoodie and at least one glove.

"We encourage all of our residents to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity such as this," the department said. "We are currently pursuing leads on this subject and would like to hear from anyone who may have doorbell video footage or surveillance footage of any suspicious persons during this time."

If you saw a suspicious person or vehicle at this time, contact Assistant Chief Larry Adams at 254-772-4470 or message the department's Facebook page.
