KILLEEN, Texas — The Central Texas Council of Governments and the Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity have come together to offer emergency heaters to Killeen-area residents in need.
The City of Killeen says residents who are at least 60 years old, have a valid ID card and can prove residency are eligible to receive one of these heaters.
There is a limited supply of heaters, so if you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, call Habitat for Humanity at 254-423-2447 to check for availability.
