LORENA, Texas — The Lorena Police Department announced that an arrest has been made following an investigation of a fatal crash that occurred back on Sept. 6.
According to police, the crash happened at the intersection of Old Lorena Road and Pilgrim Lane. After the extensive investigation, police were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Criminal Negligent Homicide.
The individual that the warrant was for turned themselves in on Monday Oct. 30, police say.
The Lorena Police Department made the following statement:
"Our thoughts and prayers remain with all persons involved in this tragic loss of life. The case will now be sent over to the McLennan County District Attorney's office for review."
