A Morgan’s Point Resident had a close encounter with an uninvited guest Monday.
Morgan’s Point Resort Fire and Police Departments received a call from a new resident who they said, “wasn’t too thrilled about the welcome wagon or, in this case, welcome snake,” according to a social media post.
The snake was safely packed by authorities and relocated.
Morgan’s Point Resort Fire Department advises the public to be aware of their surroundings, not approach or handle a snake, and call 911 if a serpent finds its way into a problematic area.
