WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department identified the male driver who died in a crash last Friday.
According to Waco Police, 44-year-old Kenneth Caufield died after he drove into oncoming traffic in the 4900 block of Lake Shore Drive around 3 p.m. on Dec. 15.
A female driver was traveling west on Lake Shore Drive when Caufield crashed into her, police said. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok.
At this time, police did not release information about why Caufield drove into opposing traffic.
