Texas Rangers and World Series Trophy to attend luncheon at Texas Sports Hall of Fame

All Central Texans are invited to get a special moment and picture with the trophy!

WACO, Texas — The Texas Sports Hall of Fame announced that the Texas Rangers will be heading to Waco, alongside their World Series Championship Trophy, for the Lone Star Luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 

The Texas Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in five games to secure the franchise's first ever World Series win in 2023. This event is offering Texans the opportunity to take a picture with the trophy that will be engraved in Texas sports history forever. 

The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame which is located at 1108 S. University Parks Dr. Individual tickets can be bought for $75 and a table of eight for $500.

Other options include a $5,000 title sponsorship and a $2,000 limited silver sponsorship. Both of these options come with tables and a commemorative gift. 

After the luncheon, autograph sessions with players and the opportunity to grab that coveted photo with the trophy will be available form 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This portion of the event will be open to all fans for free. 

The Texas Sports Hall of Fame says the names of the players who will be there will be announced soon.
