Fort Hood to close roads for basic training experience, career expo

The event will be at Sadowski Parade Field and will welcome high school students from across the state.

FORT HOOD, Texas — Fort Hood announced upcoming road closures in early March for an Army Basic Training Experience and career expo event.

Tank Destroyer Blvd. between T.J. Mills Blvd and 58th St. will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 4-4.

The Bell County Sheriff’s office will also close the right lane and shoulder of Business Highway 190 W. at T.J. Mills Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for buses to have easier access to the event.
