Road rehabilitation project to cause lane closures on FM 2410 near Harker Heights and Nolanville

Beginning May 13, daily closures will reportedly close the road down to one lane in the rehabilitation area.

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — A section of FM 2410 near Harker Heights and Nolanville will be closed down to one lane beginning on Monday, May 13 due to a continuing road rehabilitation project, TxDOT-Waco District has announced.

According to TxDOT, crews will perform daily closures on FM 2410 from Simmons Road to around Indian Trail beginning May 13. The closures are part of the ongoing road rehabilitation project to rehabilitate and widen FM 2410 from FM 3481 (Stillhouse Lake Road) to I-14/Simmons Road east of Nolanville.

The closures will create a "one-lane configuration" within the closure limits, said TxDOT. Traffic control, flagging operations and a pilot car will reportedly be used to guide traffic.

According to TxDOT, the closures are scheduled to be completed in late summer, weather permitting.

Drivers are encouraged to expect delays and drive safely.
