TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple announced that Phase 2 of the Barnhardt Road Reconstruction Project will begin on Monday, May 6.
According to the city, this project will cause closures on Barnhardt Road and a portion of Little River Road.
The city says Little River Road will be closed to traffic from Blackland Road to Cedar River Lane. There will be a detour that takes traffic through the Prairie Ridge subdivision along Thunder Basin Drive and Cedar River Lane.
At the Intersection of Blackland Road and Thunder Basin Drive, there will a three-way stop.
According to the city, Phase 2 of this project is expected to last through August 2024.
