E Glendale Street in Mexia partially closed due to uprooted tree

The City of Mexia said the closure is expected to last a "week or two" until damage can be assessed.

MEXIA, Texas — An uprooted tree is causing a partial road closure on E Glendale Street in Mexia, Texas, according to the City.

The City of Mexia shared on Facebook that the tree had uprooted and pulled part of the culvert out. The closure is reportedly between Canton and Bonham.

The City said the closure may last for a "week or two" until they can assess the damage.
