WACO, Texas — As temperatures continue to reach triple digits, a few Central Texas cities opened up cooling centers for folks to get out of the heat.

Harker Heights

- June 20 to June 22 from noon to 5 p.m.
Crisis Shelter, 412 E. Sprott St.
- June 20 to June 22 from 1 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- It will open earlier if any mid-day temps are above 100 degrees
