TEMPLE, Texas — A Temple resident who lost their wedding ring while participating in Halloween festivities on Forest Trail in Temple, has located the ring.
The individual was Misti Smith. She lost her ring while trick-or-treating on the trail on Oct.31. The ring was not stolen, but just slipped off her finger while passing out treats.
The lost wedding ring holds value to Smith. She got the ring from her husband, who has been in and out of hospitals. While she acknowledges she can get another one, she goes on to say "my husband gave me this ring, getting another would not hold that same sentimental value."
Smith has been reunited with her wedding ring. On Facebook she shares an image of the ring on her finger, thanking the individual that found it.
