KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 33-year-old man dead on Wednesday, April 17.
According to police, at around 10:05 p.m., they were called to the 900 block of Southside Dr. in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man who had been shot.
The alleged victim Tres Maurice Carter, was taken to a local hospital where he died, according to KPD.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man who was at the residence.
According to police, the shooting is related to domestic/family violence, and there is no threat to the community related to this shooting.
