Killeen Police Department asking for help identifying suspect in alleged aggravated robbery

Police said the suspect showed a "large knife/machete type weapon" and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The Killeen Police Department Robbery-Homicide Unit is asking for help identifying a suspect in an alleged aggravated robbery of a business.

According to police, officers responded to the alleged robbery around 1:14 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Police said the incident occurred at a business in the 2100 block of S WS Young Drive.

Police said it was reported to them that a man entered the business, displayed a "large knife/machete type weapon" and demanded money and other property. The suspect then allegedly left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and other property.

Police said no one was injured in the robbery.

Killeen PD stated the victim described the suspect as a Black male, around 25-30 years old with a skinny build. The victim said the suspect had "longer hair" sticking out of a hood and a purple facemask. The suspect was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stars and stripes on the front and the number eight with stripes on the back, with dark shorts and white shoes.

Tips can be made confidentially and anonymously. If a tip leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible, the person who sent it in could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.
