TEMPLE, Texas — On Friday, the Temple Police Department released the identities of the two suspects involved in a deadly Downtown Temple shooting.
Police say an arrest warrant was issued for 18-year-old Justin Hix for reportedly shooting and killing 36-year-old Jesse Mattos in the 200 block of North Main Street, just outside of HatTrick Indoor Sports Bar, around 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
According to police, Hix turned himself in to the Temple Police Department Friday evening.
Police say an arrest warrant was also issued for 24-year-old Ricardo Salazar on charges of aggravated assault.
According to police, on Dec. 2 Salazar also turned himself in.
Temple PD says Salazar should be considered "armed and dangerous."
