WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department has announced that they have identified and arrested a suspect in a shooting that left one person dead on April 14.
Waco PD said they arrested 31-year-old Mauricio Campuzano Jr. on the evening of April 15 and charged him with murder.
Waco PD previously identified 31-year-old Adam Rodriguez as the victim of the shooting.
According to police, officers were called to the 700 block of Neil Drive around 10:50 a.m. in response to the shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found Rodriguez dead with apparent gunshot wounds, police say.
Waco PD says it is still searching for the suspect involved in this shooting and anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 254-750-7500 or Crime Stoppers at 255-753-4347.
