WACO, Texas — The Cen-Tex African American Chamber is hosting an informational session about the April 8 Solar Eclipse on Tuesday, April 2.
The session will be begin at 6 p.m. at the Doris Miller Community Center located at 1020 Elm Ave. Suite 800.
Attendees will be able to hear from a guest presenter from the Central Texas Astronomical Society, Johnny Barton, as well as the City of Waco Emergency Management Office.
The goal of the session is to give residents the necessary insights into what the solar eclipse is and how it could affect the surrounding community throughout McLennan County.
