Temple New Beginnings Learning Academy temporarily closes after positive COVID-19 case

Employees, attendees and their families will be monitored for symptoms, according to the CDC protocol.

TEMPLE, Texas — New Beginnings Learning Academy in Temple was asked to temporarily close by the Bell County Public Health District. This comes after they were notified of a positive COVID-19 case at the academy, according to Executive Director of the Bell County Public Health District Dr. Amanda Robison-Chadwell.

During the early investigation process, numerous people throughout the facility were found to have possibly been exposed. The administrators have agreed to close and have notified parents of children who attend the academy.

Employees, attendees and their families will be monitored for symptoms, according to the CDC protocol. They have been notified that the Health District will reach out with further guidance, according to Robison-Chadwell.
