KILLEEN, Texas — Milling and overlay services on WS Young Drive in Killeen are expected to continue through May 24, according to the City of Killeen’s Department of Public Works’ Transportation Division.
The City said the work, which was originally scheduled from May 6 to May 17, has been extended and is now expected to continue through May 24.
The milling and overlay services will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting, on WS Young Drive from Illinois Avenue to Veterans Memorial Boulevard, said the City.
Various or entire road closures are possible during the repairs, said the City. Roads will reportedly be open only to those who live in those locations.
The City said there will be a series of traffic control devices and detours in place to guide drivers around the work zone and closure.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather, according to the City.
