Play to start again at Killeen Golf Club Friday

KILLEEN, Texas —

Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen will reopen for play Friday after new guidance was issued by the Texas Attorney General’s office. 

Golfers can expect changes designed to comply with the guidance and CDC recommendations for safety during the pandemic.

The pro shop will stay closed until further notice, and no food or beverage services will be offered. Tee time bookings will only be accepted by credit card by phone to 254-613-7011.

Golf cart use, public and private, will be limited to single players and public carts will be sanitized after each use.

Golfers will find the following changes to the course itself:

  • PVC pipe in cup

  • No bunker rakes

  • No ball/club washers

  • Course restrooms and water stations closed

The use of personal protective equipment and social distancing practices have also been put in place as precautions for staff.

All revised operations and the suspension of tournaments will remain in place until COVID-19 restrictions are removed.
